Anthony Desamito is an up-and-coming stand up comedian, actor and writer living in Los Angeles and touring across the country in comedy clubs, theaters and dive bars alike.
He has appeared on the nostalgic TV show Discontinued on The CW and played Manna White on Nick Cannon's digital series "Shoe Game with Nick Cannon." Anthony was featured on Comedy Dynamics' gay comedy series Out On Stage and showcased on FOX's stand-up show "Laughs." Anthony's voice can be heard in "Groceries," an animated pilot which premiered at Just For Laughs.
He has been heard on the Doug Stanhope Podcast, The Mortified Podcast and sharing his jokes on the stand-up album "Comedy Dynamics Presents." Anthony has been featured on BuzzFeed, Out Magazine, The Advocate and was mentioned on The Daily Beast as one of today's comics who "should be a household name” and as "a comic worth paying for" in the LA Weekly.
He is the Winner of the 1st Annual AZ's Funniest Person With a Day Job and has performed at festivals such as: SF Sketchfest • Asheville Comedy Festival • Portland Queer Comedy Festival • LA Pride • Bisbee Pride • Altercation Comedy Festival • Big Pine Comedy Festival + more! He is a Finalist in both the Scriptapalooza TV Sitcom Writing Competition & the Arizona's Funniest Comedian competition and placed in the Top 10 of the International San Francisco Comedy Competition.
He co-hosts a comedy show at the Hollywood Improv called, "Ya Feel?!" and also co-hosts "Thank You for Being a Podcast: The Golden Girls Podcast," in which he recaps episodes of the Golden Girls which has garnished over 80k downloads and has been featured on NPR, POPSUGAR and Phoenix New Times.
Anthony received his improv training from Phoenix's The Torch Theatre and he once put on a puppet show for David Arquette.
